Fun & Free Day of Education and Entertainment for All Ages

The Neighborhood Services Division of the City of Sacramento’s Department of Parks & Recreation is hosting its  annual Earth Day Celebration 2012!  A FREE day of fun and interactive green education, carnival games, and great entertainment.

More than 50 local vendors will be providing information and demonstrations on how you can join the “Green Team”.

The day will include sustainable gardening, solar services & information, environmental sustainability & preservation, recycling, composting & vermiposting, and informational takeaways.

Face painting and balloon artists will be on hand, along with live entertainment from Radio Disney and Magician Bill Devon with Top Class Magic.

When: Thursday, April 19th, 2012; 9:00am – 2:00pm
Where: City Hall Plaza (915 I Street) & Cesar Chavez Park (10th & I Streets)
