Arden-Arcade

Freedom Parade

When: Thursday, July 4, 2013; 10:00am
Where: The parade will travel south along Fulton Avenue and will head west on Cottage Way ending up in the north parking lot in Howe Park. After the parade, you are invited to attend fun festivities in Howe Park. Awards will be handed out to parade participants and there will be free food and entertainment.

Celebrate Independence Day

Firemen’s Pancake Breakfast, Old Fashioned Kids Games, Parade, and Fireworks!

A Salute to the Red, White & Blue

The festivities begin in the evening with live music and food. Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket and have a picnic or BBQ while enjoying the concert in the park. Fireworks begin at 9:30pm

Where: 7555 South Land Park Dr., Sacramento; Begins at Parkway Oaks Park (next to Lisbon elementary school), Travels along Windbridge Drive, ends at Garcia Bend Park off Pocket Rd.

Rancho Cordova

4th of July Parade

When: Thursday, July 4, 2013; 10am
Where: Parade route – Beginning on Coloma Road at Cordova Lane, the parade proceeds west to Chase Drive and left on Rinda Drive.

4th of July Celebration

Two-day festival celebrating the local community and our American heritage. It is the signature event for the community.  Food, Booths, Exhibits, Kids Zone with petting barn, train, pony rides and petting barn. Carnival rides, Fireworks.
When: Wednesday, July 3; 4pm – 11pm and Thursday, July 4; 12pm-11pm

The fireworks will be launched from Sierra View Country Club but the public viewing area will be from the Grandstands and the lawn at the Placer County Fairgrounds. Food will be available for purchase.

Sacramento

Sacramento Independence Day Celebration

Cal Expo annually joins the City and County of Sacramento to produce the largest-scale pyrotechnics display in the area’s history. The Independence Day Celebration is a family oriented collection of activities focused around our Nation’s birthday.
Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.  Arrive early and bring lawn chairs and blankets.
When: Thursday, July 4, 2013; Starts at 5:30pm; Fireworks 9:30pm
Where: Cal Expo, East Gate Entrance (located at the intersection of Exposition Blvd. and Challenge Way)
Cost: General admission FREE, parking $10 per vehicle
