Passport to Summer Youth Fair

Keep your Saturday open!

This Saturday, May 14th is a fabulous kids event!  Passport to Summer Youth Fair  highlights a wide-range of opportunities for healthy summer and after school activities. It will be featuring programs offered by the local parks and recreation departments, as well as opportunities provided by a number of other community organizations, including the Boys and Girls Clubs, Sacramento Youth Symphony, Crocker Art Museum, CSU Camps and YMCA.

It will be held at Southside Park on 6th Street, which is one of the most FAVORITE parks around!  So besides the events’ awesome activities, there is a super cool playground and ducks to feed.

The fun will include bounce houses, face painting, snacks, entertainment (the emcee is kid favorite – Francie Dillon!), and more.  To top it off, everything is FREE!

I am excited to say that we were invited and will have a Sacramento Sidetracks booth there for the first time!  PLEASE come by to say hello!  You can pick up COUPONS to some of our favorite places, enter to win fabulous PRIZES, and the first 500 people to stop by our booth will receive a little GIFT!

Hope to see you there!

My love for exploring and creating experiences with my three kids led to the founding of SacramentoSidetracks.com in 2009. I realized that Sacramento has so much to offer and I was excited to share my findings with other parents. Besides simply having fun, these are the other positive side effects of taking my kids on outings that I’ve discovered: we have quality time together away from the distractions at home, we cultivate our curiosity, learn new things, conversations are triggered by what we see and do, we connect and bond as a family, and we create new memories. Ready to get sidetracked, too? Let me be your guide!
