Join BounceU for a special ‘Support Our Troops’ Bounce benefiting the
Sacramento Blue Star Moms, in honor of the victims and heroes of 9/11

As part of the BounceU Kids for Kids philanthropic program, BounceU of Roseville & Rancho Cordova will be hosting a charity event on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, benefiting The Sacramento Blue Star Moms.

Both BounceU locations (Rancho Cordova and Roseville) will be holding the benefit bounce sessions in the afternoon and evening, featuring 1 hour of bouncing, a special storytelling by a Sacramento Blue Star Moms volunteer, and a free popsicle for each child. They will be collecting care package items to be sent to our troops overseas. Admission is only $2.00 with care package item(s) donation! Children will also have the opportunity to write a special message for our troops to be included in a care package.

There will also be a raffle for a free BounceU birthday party package, with all raffle proceeds going to the Sacramento Blue Star Moms, and a free Open Bounce pass for anyone donating 5 or more care package items.

The Sacramento Blue Star Moms is a non-profit Veteran service organization in the South Placer County and Sacramento areas. They support all troops regardless of their home town, and send care packages to deployed troops primarily stationed in Afghanistan. The care packages are filled with snacks, socks, books, powdered drink mixes, and personal hygiene items, and each box includes a message written by those here at home. The Sacramento Blue Star Moms do not receive funding, and are dependent upon fundraising events, donations and community support.

Admission must be prepaid and payment can be made over the phone or online. Space is limited, first come first served. For more information on bounce session times, and requested care package items, or to make a reservation, please contact the BounceU location closest to you.

My love for exploring and creating experiences with my three kids led to the founding of SacramentoSidetracks.com in 2009. I realized that Sacramento has so much to offer and I was excited to share my findings with other parents. Besides simply having fun, these are the other positive side effects of taking my kids on outings that I’ve discovered: we have quality time together away from the distractions at home, we cultivate our curiosity, learn new things, conversations are triggered by what we see and do, we connect and bond as a family, and we create new memories. Ready to get sidetracked, too? Let me be your guide!
