This morning on Fox 40 live, Bethany Crouch and I talked about a few safe Trick or Treating options around town. Here they are, along with a couple others, for you to choose from. I also shared a couple of places for your kids to unload their candy after Halloween!
Halloween Weekend:
Old Sacramento Trick or Treating
When: Saturday, October 29; 12pm-4pm
Where: Old Sacramento; Start at the Schoolhouse Museum where you receive a map of participating businesses.
What: Wear your costume and Trick-or-Treat through the streets of Old Sacramento.

Midtown Trick or Treating
When: Saturday, October 29; 11am-3pm
Where: Midtown; start at Relles Florist (2400 J St) where you can pick up a map of all trick-or-treat locations.
What: Trick-or-Treating at participating businesses. There will be a Magician & balloon twisting-providing a show every hour, face painting, and an Arts Corner with pumpkin decorating and more.

Spooktacular Halloween at Funderland
When: Saturday and Sunday, October 29-30; 10am-6pm
Where: Funderland
What: Silly Haunted House, Not So Spooky Train, crafts, stories, rides, contests.
Cost: Bring a game or art supplies to donate to River Oak Children’s Home in exchange for FREE tickets. Trick-or-Treating $3.00

Halloween Night:
Halloween Trick-or-Treat at the Fountains
When: Monday, October 31; 5-7pm
Where: Fountains at Roseville, Galleria Blvd and Roseville Parkway
What: Kids can where their costumes and visit selected Fountains merchants for Halloween treats.

Boo at the Zoo
When: Sunday, October 30 and Monday, October 31; 5-8pm
Where: Sacramento Zoo
What: Trick-or-treat around the lake, magic shows, costume dance party, crafts and more. Ride the Spooky Train or Creep Carousel for additional fee. Only the front half of the Zoo will be open during the event. Spookiness appropriate for kids under 10 years of age.
Cost: $10 general admission, Free for 1 and under.

After Halloween:
Earn Cash For Candy at the Dentist
When: Wednesday, November 2nd; 3:30-6:30pm
Where: Kids Care Dental, Elk Grove – 9565 Laguna Springs Drive, Folsom – 2545 E. Bidwell St., Suite 100, Sacramento – 7227 29th Street and 8191 Timberlake Way, Suite 100, Stockton – 3485 Brookside Road, Suite 101
What: Kids of all ages can fight tooth decay by donating their candy to the troops. Visit any of the six Kids Care Dental locations to receive two dollars for each pound of candy, up to two-and-a-half pounds! Soldiers will be on-site helping collect candy and interacting with children and families.

Sweet Exchange at Sacramento Children’s Museum
When: Tuesday, November 1st – Saturday, November 5th; 9am-5pm
