Mister Cooper Spring Break CD Release Party Tour

*Enter to Win a CD ~ 4 Winners!*

Are you already a Mister Cooper fan like we are? He’s been singing with our little ones all over town – at the library, schools, and special events – for years! We have loved the 3 albums he’s put out and are thrilled that he is now releasing his fourth!

My kids and I had the privilege of reviewing this brand new “I Like Your Hat” CD and I can tell you firsthand…it’s a hit! Typically, Mister Cooper’s sing alongs are geared toward the 3-7 year old crowd, so he set out to make this album of songs about kids (instead of for kids) so that the whole family could enjoy it. I am here to say he accomplished his goal!

I have a feeling that some of these songs are going to be finding their way into everyday life such as “Rise and Shine”, “Get on Your Feet and Dance”, “Me and You”, and “It’s Raining”. In Mister Cooper’s usual up-tempo fashion, the songs are energeticpositive, and make you smile! Some of them have a special message, such as “Anything is Possible” and “Are You a Bully?” and others are just plain fun!

When the kids got out of school today, we celebrated the beginning of Spring Break with cookies and our own little dance party to the songs of the new “I Like Your Hat” CD! Here’s a peek…

Some funky moves going on in this house! Although I do not have a picture to prove it, I was dancing right along with them!

I want to share with you MY DAUGHTER’S FIRST REVIEW! 🙂

My name is Madeline, I am nine years old. I love music and make up my own songs at home. I was asked by Mister Cooper to listen to his album and review it on my mom’s website. This album is different from the rest because with this one, now that I’m getting older, I could still enjoy it. I had fun listening to it, singing along, and dancing around to it. I think everyone (families altogether etc.) will enjoy this CD and just dance around to it. I would really like to point out some of my favorites which include: I Like Your Hat, which was catchy and cute I thought; A Friend Like Me was my favorite song in the entire album; Get on Your Feet and Dance made me want to “ get on my feet and dance!” It was really awesome that I got to review this album and I really appreciate the opportunity. I hope you and your family have a great experience with this album just like my family and I had.

My love for exploring and creating experiences with my three kids led to the founding of SacramentoSidetracks.com in 2009. I realized that Sacramento has so much to offer and I was excited to share my findings with other parents. Besides simply having fun, these are the other positive side effects of taking my kids on outings that I’ve discovered: we have quality time together away from the distractions at home, we cultivate our curiosity, learn new things, conversations are triggered by what we see and do, we connect and bond as a family, and we create new memories. Ready to get sidetracked, too? Let me be your guide!
