As I write this, we’ve had an onslaught of rainy days in Sacramento and the forecast shows more to come. Although it is fun to curl up with a book or a movie on a rainy day, sometimes you just need to get out of the house! Especially if you have toddlers, kids or teens that are getting bored. I’ve gathered up a dozen indoor places to go when you want to have fun while staying dry!

Get competitive and play a game or two of bowling, then play arcades and go for a meal or snack afterward.
Roll around the skating rink together and join a classic game like Red Light, Green Light, while the DJ plays great tunes.
Get creative and relax together while doing arts & crafts.
Work together to figure out challenging and unique puzzles in order to escape a themed escape room.
