Grimm Brothers’ Fairytales Come to Life
Three nights of trick-or-treating and family fun at Fairytale Town’s annual Safe & Super Halloween.
Things will be looking Grimm at Fairytale Town for this year’s Safe and Super Halloween. The fairytales of Wilhelm and Jacob Grimm will come to life for three nights of family fun on October 26, 27 and 28 from 5 to 9 p.m.
Families will enjoy visiting Sleeping Beauty’s castle, walking through Little Red Riding Hood’s forest, and sneaking a peek at the Evil Queen’s Lair.
Seventeen candy stations will be scattered throughout the park for trick-or-treaters to visit. The evening also features hands-on activities and a costume parade.
Puppet Art Theater Company will perform “Goldilocks and the Three Sharks” in the Children’s Theater at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Through the magic of blacklight, the audience will be transported deep into an ocean environment where Goldilocks the Mermaid looks for adventure and finds nothing but trouble and a family of man-eating sharks. Tickets for the puppet show are $1 for Fairytale Town members and $2 for nonmembers.
This year marks the 26th anniversary of Fairytale Town’s Safe and Super Halloween, which provides children and families a safe place to trick or treat, have quality family time, and enjoy a great evening of Halloween-themed, family-friendly fun.
When: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 26, 27 & 28; 5 – 9 p.m.

Cost: Advance tickets are $7 members and $10 nonmembers.
Beginning October 26, tickets are $9 members and $12 nonmembers.
