We have a lot of love for the Sacramento Public Library and all of the fun, free activities they offer on a consistent basis. Due to the Summer Reading Program, there are some extra special events taking place right now.
My kids and I have found that it is fun to venture out to a library other than our neighborhood one for an event that interests us. Most libraries have a park right next to them or very near and so we usually combine our library trip with checking out a new playground.
