Introducing Alanna Rose Photography

How incredible is this photo?!  As soon as I saw it I was dying to know where Alanna took it.  Is this really in Sacramento?  Well, if you live in the Folsom area, you might recognize it.  That is where she held several family photo sessions this past weekend.

If you are still thinking about getting your family photos taken for the holidays or even just portraits of your little ones, here’s a photographer to strongly consider!

Alanna of Alanna Rose Photography is a talented and passionate photographer whose goal is to reflect your personal taste and personality in your photos.  She uses mostly natural light photography and shoots outdoors and on location.  She loves working with kids and families and says her favorite moments are those that are unscripted.

I’m a naturally creative individual, and photography is my outlet.  While watching my own family grow, I found a new unexpected joy behind the lens, and found myself taking even more images of family and friends than before.  It was at this time that everything came into focus. I realized I wasn’t just taking pictures but capturing moments in time that will be treasured for many years to come.  As a professional photographer, I have a great sense of fulfillment in working with people and their families. Not only am I capturing an important milestone in one’s life, but am also blessed to be able to be a part of their lives.

If you are hesitant to have family photos taken because it is chaotic and stressful, then this will be music to your ears:  Alanna’s approach is very casual, allowing you and your family to get to know her and become comfortable.  You’ll know she GETS IT when you hear she likes to allocate enough time for clothing changes, snacks, diaper changes and breaks!

When you schedule a session with Alanna, you’ll discuss the location of your shoot and decide on where you and your children will feel most comfortable.  Do you have a favorite spot in mind?  You may want to head to a park or the beach…or just stay in the comfort of your own home.  Alanna travels all over the Sacramento area and can recommend a great location based on your family’s style.  Sessions are typically 1-3 hours, and she does her best to make sure your time together is relaxed and fun!
