Pumpkin Patch Time in Sacramento

Nothing says it’s Fall like going to a Pumpkin Patch!  Whether you simply want to pick out that perfect pumpkin to carve or make a day of it by enjoying the other attractions, there are many wonderful patches in the Sacramento area.  We’ve enjoyed Dave’s Pumpkin Patch and the Silverbend Pumpkin Patch with our kids in past years.  This year we are looking forward to checking out The Pumpkin Farm or Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm.  They have great pictures on their websites, lots of attractions and look  like a ton of fun.  We will also try to get to Fog Willow Pumpkin Farm.  It looks like it could be the best value around.  Don’t forget to bring your camera, there are so many great photo opportunities at pumpkin patches!

Here are all the pumpkin patches I have found in the Sacramento area.  Most open October 1st and stay open through the 31st.

My love for exploring and creating experiences with my three kids led to the founding of SacramentoSidetracks.com in 2009. I realized that Sacramento has so much to offer and I was excited to share my findings with other parents. Besides simply having fun, these are the other positive side effects of taking my kids on outings that I’ve discovered: we have quality time together away from the distractions at home, we cultivate our curiosity, learn new things, conversations are triggered by what we see and do, we connect and bond as a family, and we create new memories. Ready to get sidetracked, too? Let me be your guide!
