Win Tickets to Family Fun Fest at Fairytale Town

The Junior League of Sacramento is holding their annual Family Fun Fest at Fairytale Town this Saturday, April 20th from 5:30pm-8:30pm. It will be a night of music, food, and tons of fun kids’ activities!

For the kids:

  • Face painting
  • Yoga
  • Kid’s cook-off
  • Smoothie bike (attendees pedal a bike to power the making of a smoothie)
  • Booths where kids can make musical instruments
  • Arts and crafts with recycled materials
  • Food trivia games
  • Decorate plant pots and plant seeds

Entertainment will include a live band (The Mixx), dance demonstrations, martial arts, the Sacramento Youth Symphony, and yoga. There will also be a raffle for prizes!

The Junior League holds holds events like this to raise funds to support community programs such as Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services, their own Kids in the Kitchen program (which teaches kids healthy cooking, many who have never cooked before), Rethink your Drink campaign, and their Read and Feed Garden. The League has a Nutrition Focus and most of their community programs keep that in mind.
