DinoFaire at Star ECO Station

Do you have a kid with a love for DINOSAURS?  Then this will be a don’t-miss event for you!  DinoFaire is this Saturday, January 22nd, at Star ECO Station in Rocklin.

Star ECO Station is inviting you to discover your inner paleontologist with real artifacts, fossils and an archeology dig for kids!  Alongside his life size dinosaurs, Dinoman will be entertaining with a special presentation.  You will also get a guided tour of this internationally award-winning non-profit environmental education and exotic wildlife rescue center.  If you have not been there yet, click here to see the awesome experience we had when we visited during the summer.

Here are the times available:  10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm, and 2pm-4pm.  You can purchase tickets in advance on their website or at the door.  I was told 10-12 will be their most packed time slot and 12-2 is their least.  Adults $6.00, Kids $5.00.

My love for exploring and creating experiences with my three kids led to the founding of SacramentoSidetracks.com in 2009. I realized that Sacramento has so much to offer and I was excited to share my findings with other parents. Besides simply having fun, these are the other positive side effects of taking my kids on outings that I’ve discovered: we have quality time together away from the distractions at home, we cultivate our curiosity, learn new things, conversations are triggered by what we see and do, we connect and bond as a family, and we create new memories. Ready to get sidetracked, too? Let me be your guide!
