A Christmas Carol: The Musical

What: Alan Menken’s “A Christmas Carol” is a spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens’s most well-known story. Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated “Bah! Humbug!” Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he’s forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful “Happy Christmas” before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.

'Tis the Season: A Celebration of Holiday Stories

What: ‘TIS THE SEASON is a charming and hilarious collection of stories about the holidays. In the spirit of the long-running B Street School Tour, ‘TIS THE SEASON captures the excitement of what it’s like to be a kid during the holidays. Holiday in the Hills
When: December 2 – 23, 2022
Where: Sutter Street Theatre
What: This musical takes place in the late 1880’s right here on Sutter Street where the residents of the town and surrounding areas have gotten together to celebrate the Holidays. A lot of research went into the people and places that were here in the late 1800’s, give or take a year or two, and everyone you see was an actual resident or visitor to Folsom at that time of year. Come see a show guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit or your money back. One of the most enjoyable shows of the year with dynamic characters, dancing, music and skits!
