Red Robin Gift Card Giveaway

Last December, I was invited to cover Red Robin’s Kids’ Cook-off Competition in Denver where a local Sacramento boy was one of the ten finalists.  It was such a fun experience and the burgers created by the kids were delicious!

In the end, a 12-year-old from Kansas named Donovan won the competition with his Mount Vesuvius Burger that had a home-made “lava sauce”.  His burger is now on the Red Robin menu and 50 cents of each burger sold goes to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children!

The 2011 Kids’ Cook-Off Cookbook is now available as a free download and includes 50 gourmet burger recipes from kids across the country as well as back-to-school safety and cooking tips.

Win a $25 Gift Card!

Red Robin has generously sent a $25 Gift Card for one lucky Sacramento Sidetracks reader!

To enter to win, all you need to do is:

1.  Leave a Comment on this post sharing with us which local kid-friendly restaurant is your family’s favorite.

2.  Click here and “Like” Sacramento Sidetracks on Facebook.

These two things count as one entry.

This will be a quick giveaway!  You have until Thursday, September 8th, at midnight to enter.  The winner will be chosen using Random.org and will be announced on Friday morning.  Good luck!

My love for exploring and creating experiences with my three kids led to the founding of SacramentoSidetracks.com in 2009. I realized that Sacramento has so much to offer and I was excited to share my findings with other parents. Besides simply having fun, these are the other positive side effects of taking my kids on outings that I’ve discovered: we have quality time together away from the distractions at home, we cultivate our curiosity, learn new things, conversations are triggered by what we see and do, we connect and bond as a family, and we create new memories. Ready to get sidetracked, too? Let me be your guide!
