This musical is a classic that has touched peoples’ hearts for years and has been an absolute favorite in my life! I am lucky to have a daughter that has come to love it as I do and we are dying to see it on the 24th Street Theatre stage opening night!
Runaway Stage Productions is presenting this beloved musical from November 9 through December 2. As always, their talented resident orchestra will accompany an energetic cast for what promises to be a heart-warming show.
Annie finds refuge from an orphanage run by the embittered Miss Hannigan when billionaire Oliver Warbucks invites her to spend the holidays with him. Adventure and magic follow as Annie transforms all those around her. With the help of her delightful fellow orphans, she foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations and discovers the true meaning of family. Musical highlights include “Tomorrow,” “Easy Street,” “N.Y.C.” and “You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile.”
