Shopping and eating are a go-to way to either spend time with your teens, drop them off with friends, or ideas you can offer up when they’re planning a date. I’ve rounded up all of the best shopping spots in Sacramento, starting north and heading south, to make it a little easier.

Westfield Galleria 

Favorite features: Great food court, high end stores that are fun to browse, Round 1 Bowling & Amusement, Cinemark Movie Theater, The Cheesecake Factory, coffee and treats

The Fountains at Roseville

Favorite features: the fountains, Mikuni, coffee and treats, special events

Favorite features: Boba Loca, BJ’s Restaurant, Cold Stone, popular clothing stores

Favorite features: Punch Bowl Social with games inside, Century Movie Theater, treats and coffee

Old Sacramento Waterfront

Favorite features: Great view of the river, special events, Evangeline’s, unique gift shops, Railroad Museum, crystal shop, coffee and candy, the new ferris wheel

Delta Shores

Favorite features: Cinemark Movie Theater, lots of great fast food restaurants, Daiso, coffee and treats
